F&P WashingMachine MW059 – Spin Light pulsing, not flashing

Hi All,

here is an odd one for you.
washing machine today stopped after the rinse. No beeping or anything, just the Spin Light pulsing, like when you have the machine go into data download mode. Switch off/On then the machine wouldnt do anything, advancing the stages from long/short spin only just resulted in the Spin light doing the data thing again each time start was pressed. Had to put the machine in diagnostic to drain the pump. No error codes. Switched the machine out of auto restart and once got the code error code 1, then back to blank again. set the restart back to auto.

tried to wash again and it started, but it would beep every few mins then noticed it was moving the Spin Speed from Fast, beep again a few mins later then to Spin Med… all the way down to Hold. So during the cycle i pressed spin to put it back to fast, then it repeated the beep thing going to hold. 3rd time lucky put it back to fast again and it stayed there. and completed the wash cycle uneventful. Not sure if the fuzzy logic got really fuzzy?

Any idea what could be happening apart from solar flares?
