further to the point i made earlier about people loving dysons, I’ve just come bak from the hairdressers (local gossip shop n blue rinse affair) full of ladies and they all own Dysons, some more than one.
They all said the same thing. Never had such good service from a company, love the cleaner , some had been troublesome but they didn’t care, the aftersales was so good and they think the cleaners are wonderfull. Even my mother has a dc04 thats required a few repairs and you cant take it out to clean the car because the base cracks too easily on the driveway. But she loves it, and wants me to supply a dc14 animal soon. Wont even consider anything else. Now then what was that about hypnotic??? or is there subliminal messeges played out as you vacuum???? “you will love my Dyson, you will only ever buy a Dyson”

Yeah SteveI know.
But on comparative testing Dysons do not outperform the competition, especially Sebo and Meile and yet they cost the same, sometimes more. I think it was Electrolux that tested Dyson against their own range as well very in-depth and even Lux outperformed the Dyson.
But people like the way they look and the marketing that surrounds Dyson, which to be fair to Dyson has been brilliant. People even think that they’re buying British and not Malaysian.
