Freezer baskets

Is anyone else annoyed with the quality of the plastic they use for these baskets. My freezer baskets started to split and crack shortly after the guarantee ran out and to replace the 3 its going to cost £90+ !
Does anyone know of a company that makes replacement wire baskets or shelves please?
I have seen Hamaster Baskets but they seem designed for chest freezers not upright ones.
I have tried gluing them back together but the repair does not last very long.

What make and model are these baskets for?

I would agree though that, in most cases, plastic drawer, shelves and suchlike are disproportionately expensive, often a lot too expensive.

Usually there is no way to fit “universal” or generic baskets as they come in all manners of shapes and sizes making it nigh on impossible to manufacture a one-size-fits-all type basket. In fact, they are often model specific and will only fit the one model of freezer or fridge freezer.

If you can give me a make, model and the ones you need we can price them for you and see what can be done.

Daewoo do have expensive parts. 🙁

The drawers are about £28 each excluding shipping, so that sounds about right. I can add them to the shop if you like?
