the model is a bosch gl1100. the lights are on but it’s not cooling. i’ve tried switching it off for a while and then back on but this didn’t make any difference.
What’s the cheapest way of getting this fixed? bosch quoted £59 call out then £4 per 6 minutes after the first half hour.
I guess i hate the idea of somebody coming out and saying they can’t fix it 🙄 something i’ll probably just have to accept.
the unit cost around £300 4 years ago when i bought it.
I did try the repairs@ link but it didn’t work.
    thanks,
    eric

What didn’t work Eric ? The whole thing or there wasn’t an engineer in your area. If the latter, pop up your postcode, I’ll check another list I have.

any other repairers other than Dill & Sons for LS7? They no longer service bosch – they say they’re finiding it difficult to get parts and information. The @repairs service chooses these guys by default.

    Thanks,
    eric

I just tried and it also comes up with Quality Washer Repairs who is our very own Penguin45.

He will handle the call for you I’m sure 😀

In the meantime I will contact Dill’s as they haven’t told us they no longer repair Bosch appliances.

    Thanks for letting us know.

    Dave.

Regret that we haven’t repaired refrigeration for many years. Our recommended repairer is:

    Office: 0113 2774113
    Mobile: 07767 843900
    eMail: MJa107211@aol.com

I keep telling Michael to join, but he hasn’t to date. Please tell him that you got his details through UKWhitegoods – maybe that’ll incentivise him!
