    Hi,

I’m looking for a freezer to use in the garage (hence cold over winter). Don’t want a full size chest freezer but perhaps a smaller chest type freezer or a smaller front opening freezer. Hoping for under £300.

Any advice, all advice is appreciated.

    Re: Freezer for garage

Thanks. Interesting. Looks like a non starter (clearly garage temp can fall below 10 degrees). Just moved, the last guy had a chest freezer and it seemed like a good idea!

Basically, yes. It’s inadvisable and most certainly on a cheap freezer.

Might work, might not. Depends on how much of a risk you want to take on the investment in the freezer and the food in it if it goes kaput.

    K.

So, on looking around “Beko” seems to suggest their freezers are OK to low temps. Can find no other manufacturer who’ll state this..Not sure about Beko as a brand however, any views as to the quality?
