Freezer making a ticking noise

I purchased a Beko frost free fridge freezer model CDA543F and since day 1 it has been making a loud ticking. I have checked the net and Beko wesite and i have had no luck at all. I wondered if anyone knew what the problem may be.

Does it tick constantly??
If not it may just be the ice cracking in defrost mode.

It ticks everytime the fan comes on

Could be the fan clipping ice that has built up. Cheapest option is to try a 24hr defrost (towels in freezer area) and see how it goes on thereafter.
Sometimes even the frost free appliances need a full defrost once a year 😀

can be misleading i find a large {e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of my f/f callouts are frozen up and the customer generally gobsmacked when he is told to defrost.

might even be defrost timer, i get a lot faulty,
check to see if noise is coming from around near the compressor.
more likley its just the gas, they seem to moan and groan a lot more with the newer r600a gas, (you will just have to but up with it)
