ParticipantHi
Our Zenussi ZEBF 249 W (3years old) has a warm fridge even though the freezer is OK. This suggests to me that the compressor /refrigerant is ok.
The fan I think is running, but cold air is not entering the frdge copartment.
Is this a defrost problem?
Any help greatly appreciated . Cheers. NickSeptember 22, 2006 at 3:55 pm #189373Martin

From my limited experience Nick I would think so? Try defosting the appliance completely over 36-48 hours (or 24 hours with the doors open) and then restart it after you have cleared up all the water and mess that it will generate. 🙁

That will read heater open circuit. Time will tell if the fault resumes.

Have had many of these with faulty defrost timer.
If you do the defrost as suggested for 48 hrs and try again. If the problem occurs again after about a week you have a defrost cycle problem.8/10 times i find defrost timer faulty but could be cutout or heater.

Hi I have had the same original problem as NICK, but before the fridge stopped working the unit developed a constant clicking noise…
We defrosted with doors open for 36 hours, switched it back on and worked fine with cold air flowing into fridge etc, but the constant clicking noise has just come back less than 48 hours later. I think the problem is going to repeat itself any ideas? 😥
