    Hi everybody,
I am about to purchase a new freezer, upright or chest ,which will be used in the garage. Beko seem to be the only manufacturer who actually claim that their freezers will function in the possible low temperature range
of a garage. I appreciate that thousands of people use their freezers in a garage but if they are operated outside of makers recommendations it will invalidate the guarantee.
Are there other makes suitable or should I just buy whatever and hope for the best.
    Thanks
    Peter

    All detailed here: http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/buyi … ouses.html

Just look at the climate class, tells you all you really need to know. But if you put any appliance in an unheated outbuilding there are any number of ways that can end badly.
