My boss has asked me for my help, so all of your help is appreciated as I may get extra brownie points for helping him.
He has a four year old Prodis nt3bh display fridge, production number 180424097. This fridge began cycling cold-warm-cold-warm earlier this year, and now it remains warm, he tells me that it warmed up to 34′.
As this is a commercial unit I’m surprised it has failed so fast as if is in a domestic environment.
Could anyone shed any light on what I should be checking??
Thermostat??, compressor??, Fan?? Any help is much appreciated.

    Thank you for looking.

    Daniel.

Cheers Dave, in the past you have helped me immensely on a variety of repairs, where do you think the fault lies? I’m pretty hands on and electrical savvy even on some circuit board stuff. Obviously if it’s gas related then that is out of my league.
Thank you again for everything past and present.

In a fridge the gas is compressed into a liquid and as it moves into the fridge it’s allowed to expend and boil off taking the heat with it. If the evaporater is blocked then the gas can’t expand and can give off heat. This is cause by a blockage in the refrigeration piping. Basically if the compressor is running and it’s not getting cold it’s not a diy job and prob best be replaced.
or you need professional help if it’s an expensive unit
