    Hi

Newb here. I was looking for the benefit of your knowledge as I am in two minds over my impending fridge/ freezer purchase.

I am trying to choose between the fridges in the subject title, linked here for your quick reference…

    http://www.fisherpaykel.co.uk/global/ki … 4432642FE4

    http://www.maytag.co.uk/ProductPages/Trilogy.aspx

The F&P model is much less expensive (circa £900), with the Maytag at about £1600

They’re fairly similar in fridge:freezer ratio, and in aesthetics.

Apart from the larger warranty (5yrs from Maytag, 2 from F&P) I was wondering if you could help me with differences, and views on the Brand names’ reputations, reputations of the models I have quoted, or viewpoints on whether I should even be considering different brands etc.

This is the first time I have spent any serious cash on refrigeration so I’m at the mercy of glossy info, various salespeople, and torture if I make the wrong choice!

Many thanks in advance for any help

i would put my money on a maytag or admiral and consider the side by side rather than the trilogy 😀

Thanks. Side by side has more freezer space than I want or need though.

Why would you suggest that above the Trilogy?
