fridge freezer constantly running

hi chaps a friend of mine has a fridge that was getting too warm in the fridge section freezer seemed fine. he changed the stat and had it regassed but still too warm in fridge. i have checked it myself and seems like the freezer is not fully cooling propely and the fridge does look frosty at the back but not cool enough.
details i got off it are FF 614/01 SYSTEM 600 TR922902205 R12 stat friend fitted was a ranco vt9.

The compressor is on the way out Paul I would think.

From the serial number it’s 1992 vintage and R12 refrigerant is not available any longer so how he got it regassed is a mystery 😉

Time for the fridge mountain errrr… recycling centre I think 😉

im not too shure on the gas that was used to regass it.
only catch is this fridge freezer thing is built into the kitchen
i shall ask the chap tommorow and see what he says
