    Hello,
I am looking to buy a ‘Frost Free’ Fridge Freezer but have limited height available.
Please does anyone know of one that is max height of 135cm (136 at a push? Preferably Fridge at the top, but beggars can’t be choosers.
My present F/F is a Hotpoint 8332 which is 135 x 55 x 60, but I need to replace it with a Frost Free unit and my kitchen is tiny.
    Hope someone can help,
    Rob

    Re: Fridge Freezers

    Hi

I don’t know of any frost free in that height. The best fridge freezer you are going to get is this Liebherr but it is touch taller.

A quick Google says it’s not too expensive either.

    HTH 🙂

Thanks Don, it looks a good unit, but I need Frost Free.
I guess I need to look harder at the kitchen and remove a cupboard or two.
    Cheers,

    Re: Fridge Freezers

I have a frost free zanussi fridge freezer for some time now model zrb224nwo and have the problem that the water tray above the compressor fills up with water overflows and water goes on floor. This happens every 5-7 weeks or so and I use a sponge to soak water out of tray which leaves it ok for another 5 weeks or so.

I have called replairman out but he just had a quick look and says its an air circulation problem, With previous fridges I never had this problem though they were not frost free. There is a 7 inch gap between back of fridge and wall and 4 inch clearnace at top. The fridge is working fine otherwise.

1 how is the water supossed to evaporate with this kind of frost free freezer, does it just happen while the compressor is on, and from the heat of the compressor or is there a separate heating element to evaporate the water in tray?

2 any pointers to why this is happening greatly appreciated, btw no pipe inside back of fridge to let water drain from ice backplate as this fridge is not made this way.

    Thank you for any help
