fridge freezing up

teka f/f afc 1340 the fridge part keeps freezing up the freezer is ok, any help 😆

Have been reading a lot here – sounds like the thermostat has failed. They usually (apparently) fail closed so the fridge stays on. Thing is the fridge is cooling all the time, rather than stopping and starting according to temperature.

It could also be a diverter valve that opens/closes the flap between the fridge and freezer (eg in American style f/f).

If you can find the thermostat it’s usually an easy fix (if you can wire a plug you can do this). Turn off power before you fiddle with it!
