Goranje KI4121AW wet wall fridge. Compressor is on all the time and fridge stays at 0deg. Big (2 inch thick) lump of ice forms at the top on the rear wall after a few weeks.

£500 for a new fridge (it’s integrated), so need to know if there’s anything that can be done to fix it. Any ideas.?

I’m thinking it’s probably low gas, or compressor seals, so prbly a write off.

    Thanks, in advance.

You are correct in thinking it’s low on Gas or compressor worn, you could also check for movement in the plastic wet wall to see if the wet wall has movement.
Its worth checking to see if the fan is faulty as this could also cause a problem.
if the fans ok the other problems are most likely beyond economical repair.

    Thanks Bob.
I checked the wet wall, and can move it; bulged out in the middle too.
There is no fan, so it’s a write off. I’ll get a new fridge.

As the wet wall has blown then it is definitely not repairable.
