Fridge is freezing ice at top but too warm at the bottom

    Ive read so many articles but can’t work it out.
    Our fridge is 2degrees at the top and has super thick snowy ice at the back of the top two shelves.
    But at the bottom by the salad draws its 10degrees so its not cooling them enough

    After reading others messages I think maybe there is a compressor problem as the fridge is constantly noisy. Which others have mentioned uses lots of energy.
    we cant afford a new fridge so is fixing this even worth it?

    It depends what machine it is and how old but, it does sound like it’s reached the end of its life from what you describe.
