Fridge Not Staying Cold

The above fridge/freezer is about 5 1/2 years old. Last year the fridge stopped getting cold and I called an engineer out who said it needed defrosting which was done and then it worked perfectly for about seven months. in the 1st week of January it happened again so I defrosted it and it worked fine but only for a month. Defrosted again last Sunday but although it worked fine again, last night I noticed it wasn’t as cold as it should be.

Does it need a new defrost sensor or regassing or is it something more serious?

It is possible that the defrost sensor unit is at fault, but the only way to be sure is by contacting a Good local engineer that’s familiar with these systems. You could try lookig at the UKWG repairs@ feature to find an engineer local to you.

thats a common fault that

the ntc will be faulty, not massiveley expensive, but a pig to change and put back together correctly
