I have a hygena fridge freezer, model APM6121. I noticed recently on inspection that the fan at the bottom had ceased to work, i have since purchased a new motor from uk whitegoods, installed it today, the fan works fine now, but the fridge after 6 hours is still at 15 degrees. the freezer compartment is chilled at -4 degrees C, anyone have any ideas?

    regards

There’s only a compressor cooling fan in that machine and that won’t affect the cooling circuit. It’s probably a compressor or thermostat fault that’s your problem.

hi, thanks for the reply, would either of these be a job i could undertake myself, or would you recommend an engineer to have a look at it.

The thermostat you can DIY replace but the compressor definitely not I’m afraid.
