    Hi, can anyone help? I have ordered a new correct thermostat for my Hotpoint 8141 fridge. It only has 4 terminals , the old broken one has 5. Where do I connect the white wire on the new thermostat as that terminal is missing ?Many Thanks

    I’m no expert and a bit confused by your No. of terminals, but this might offer some help…

    Hi, Jezz, thanks for the help. I had read that article, it was a good one. Eventually I took the old thermostat apart, 2 of the terminals were linked together so I guess just duplicates, wired in the new thermostat and it works fine.
