Fridgefreezer – Fridge not cooling properly. Candy CSC1745BE

Hello,

The freezer section is cooling fine, however the fridge section is not. The compressor is louder than normal and one side of the outside of the fridge is getting quite hot.

I have tried defrosting it for 12 hours, but the problem was still there. I replaced the thermostat yesterday but its still not getting cold enough. Is there anything else I can try?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On that one, ti’s the compressor that’s gone. I expect the entire thing will be gone to the tip soon enough as that’s not worth doing on that machine.

Ok thanks, is that quite common for these? It’s only 3.5 years old
