    My 5 year old Fridgemaster free-standing fridge just stopped cooling. Internal light is OK. The compressor runs and feels warm/hot but is there is no cooling at all. Any pointers to what could possibly have gone wrong will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

    It sounds like a system fault I’m afraid, which is not a DIY thing.

    Many thanks. Would you advise on repair or replacement. Loss of cooling was sudden.

    its not going to be worth repairing as it will be a compressor failure

    even if its a cheaper low gas problem you have to think how has it got out of a sealed system which means leak finding

    scrap it
