    I have just had this fridge freezer given to me, it is in immaculate condition cosmetically etc. I left it stand for a day before switching on then left it on overnight, but in the morning it was not cold, (Fridge or freezer.)
    When it is switched on I can hear the compressor working and it (the compressor) gets warm.
    Does anyone have any ideas please, I should hate to have to dump it.

    It may have lost the gas or the system may be blocked.
    It may also be the compressor faulty.
    This is not a DIY repair and is not cheep to repair.
