Do You Need A Service Call?
If you need a service call you can use the site to contact service agents throughout the UK using the “Directories” section from the link or from the navigation panel to the left. This is a searchable directory of service agents and other suppliers relevant to our industry, you can also post a request in the forums should you wish. But we’ve made finding a service engineer even easier with our unique dedicated ” Repairs@” module which will search any of the repairers that have submitted their details to us for inclusion quickly and easily. This is a quick way to find a capable and approved service engineer for your appliance in your area and is very simple to use.

Spare Parts For Appliances
If you are looking for spares please read this page, there are seperate trade forums as well as the public side, please be careful where you post trade pricing as it could be considered privileged information.Technical Assistance (Trade Only)
Any tech help or fault code issues can be requested in the forums, but please have a look there first before requesting help as it may well have already been discussed.Jobs & Contract Offers (Trade Only)
People in the industry looking for agents, employment vacancies or employees should post these in the “Work & Vacancies” section of the trade forums or contact site admin who will assist . As you will see UK Whitegoods is a free resource and a lot of the guys here give up a lot of their time and knowledge to help one another as well as the general public without charging a penny for it. It is very admirable that they choose to do this and all we ask is that you see fit to use the Amazon Store on the site if you use Amazon anyway as that does earn us some revenue towards hosting fees and the likes, many thanks to those of you that choose to do this for us.Subscriber Forums
It was decided that there should be a subscriber area for independent repairers which is primarily there for member communications as well as advance warning of special offers and work offers etc.. To access this forum you will need special permission and to be a subscriber, please contact site admin for further details of this or click here.We hope you enjoy the site and the content on it and please feel free to leave comments and vote on the news articles and most of all, have fun!

ModeratorRe: front page terms and conditions
O.K.
Before you have a set of rules you need to lay out your terms and conditions.
and having stared at a blank screen for the last hour wondering where to begin. The thought struck me that the rules need to be put in place to back up a pre stated set of terms and conditionms for use of the service provided by the site.Right, so i go to the front page and view the terms and conditions for the use of the site on the front page and guess what THERE AINT ANY !
I have copied the main welcome address as posted on the front of the site and it tells you where everything is, it tell’s you what sections relate to specific area’s of interest, it also tell’s you that certain permissions are required to view certain sections.
but nowhere does it state the terms and conditions that prospective member are expected to comply with an agree to before using our ukw services as with any other site or computer programe that I have ever used.
It also does not reserve itself the right to remove any member or advertiser for any reason it might deem neccessary.
I can only ask if the terms and conditions of usage are hidden away somwhere please let me now so that we can view them. If they are there then I appologise and would be more than happy to stand corrected.
I cant believe that this has not been done. but if it has’nt it needs to be done now and pdq. This is really a job for a leagle eagle not a set of novices. if it has been done then it needs to be more obvious than it is right now.Any answers from the admin team would be apreciated.

KeymasterRe: front page terms and conditions
Sorry Sean, I missed this. 😳
The site T&C is there as I pointed out to you and the link to that can be found in the first headline section there, at the end as a link from the front page. It can also be accessed through the articles section of the site.
Really the charter serves as a T&C for Repairs@ although there is a little disclaimer on the Repairs@ information pages, also in articles and also linked to from the front page in two places. So the information is there if people want to look for it.
It is however my experience that people seldom read a T&C until they have to and it’s too late, they already agreed to it but that does not negate the requirement on our part to have it. 🙄
