Does anyone have unhappy experiences with frost free fridge freezers? We are contemplating a Miele, Bosch or Liebherr. Have heard frost free sorts can be noisy and if so, just how annoying and how long does this noise last? Also it seems that some of the freezer storage space is less than in a conventional. Background noise is a problem for me. A lot of the time you cannot find DB ratings for noise listed on specs. What would be a good db rate to go for? Eternally grateful for any advice!

    Nixx,

Frost Free Fridges and Fridge Freezers are very sophisticated these days, they are extremely efficient too. Noise levels only slightly higher than the more conventional cooling systems.

I am sure you would be a proud owner of such a device and indeed get a quiet nights sleep 🙂

And it’s goodbye to the need for regular defrosting too as they don’t require that inconvenience either 😀
