My old Candy frost free fridge freezer, which has stayed frost free all the years I’ve had it now is frosting over.
After a powercut it was off for over a week, then I cleaned it out and filled it up and put it back on. For about 4 days there was no problem but then I never looked inside!
Opened the door on Saturday while cleaning the kitchen floor to see frost building up along the top of the freezer compartment and water is leaking out. Everything seemed frozen okay.
I filled the drawers up with 2L bottles of water because I’ve no food to put in it.
What’s causing it to frost over? Is that to be expected after being off for so long?
It is really old, I’m getting a new one as soon as I can, but I’ve had no problems with it before so I just wondered what to do best.
