    Hello all
New to this forum so please be gentle.

There are 2 parts to this post.

    1. My current vented integrated tumble dryer appears to have given up the ghost. When I turn it on, it hums loudly but the drum doesn’t turn. In fact, I canโ€™t even make the drum turn manually when I try to push it from the inside. All of which I assume is very bad. However, as I bought it at a knock down price and was pretty dissatisfied with it anyway (takes ages or things to dry, is very noisy, is always tripping) I was always going to replace it if/when something serious happened to it.

    2. So, I am after a fully integrated, vented tumble dryer. I thought I’d have tons to choose from. Wrong. It seems that the only one I’ve been able to find is made by CDA or White Knight (in fact they are probably the same machine as they look identical). Is anyone aware of any other, ehem, better branded machines? This machine also looks very much like my current one which gave me, oh, all of 2 years’ worth of use before dying on me. Surely there can’t only be one product on the market. Am I that unusual a customer??

    Any advice greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi

That`s about the sum of them out there I`m afraid, very low volume sales and high cost. Another clone of the White knight is the Baumatic version. If it were me I would go for the white Knight variant ๐Ÿ˜‰ If you can compromise and have semi integrated there is the Miele T4809 Kelkoo lists it at ยฃ809 !! Good quality product with a two year warranty, can be expensive on parts out of warranty and restricted service.
