was at a fridge freezer yesterday , chinese customer
ice build up in freezer etc .. asked mr if he had a couple of old towels i could use to put on floor to catch any excess water.
he looked at me funny – and wondered off muttering something
after 5 minutes im still sitting there waiting on a towel – steam gun all fired up ready to go , mrs then appears in kitchen and asked what size of towels – i says 1 big one or 2-3 little ones – she then disappears – another 5 minutes goes by so i says to myself screw this and start using steam gun .
finally mr comes back with a puzzled look and hands me 4 ceramic tiles – god knows where they got them from ?
i didnt have the heart to tell them i meant towels
so i organised the tiles on the floor and sat my alpha tec meter on them and ran the wires over to the fridge making look like they were doing something interesting
have to say it made me smile all day after that

ha, ha so after you the job and there was a small lake on the floor and their kitchen floor was wrecked they must have been thinking “why didn’t he ask for any towels?”
