G2P DWI dishwasher problems can anyone help?

Hi all,

I’m new here and was hoping if someone could help me please. I have a G2P DWI dishwasher and have a problem with it. The machine starts the cycle and fills up with water but does not pump it out. When I stop the machine and reset the cycle, once I shut the door the pump kicks in and drains the water out of the machine before astarting the cycle again and filling up with water. As i know the pump etc works I’m assuming that it could be the flow switch isn’t showing a high level of water. The pump stops when it has emptied out so it must be switching a low level. Do you think it could be the switch or could it be the pcb?. Any help would be greatly appreciated. many thanks

If it stops and beeps, count the flash pattern from the start LED – it’s an error code.

Based on what Coys has said, I suspect that we are looking at a fairly classic computer board problem. Select a programme, press start and runaway fill. If the computer were working properly, it would detect the water level through the flow meter count and the level switch. Failure with either of these will abort the programme (and the fill process). Failure of the temperature sensor will also generate an error code – machine beeps, drains and flashes its start light in an identifiable pattern. As this appliance does none of these things, it’s not a “logical” fault, thus implicating the computer board.

Hi all,

I have ordered a control board for the G2PDWI but it isn’t anywhere on the machine!!!!!!!!

I have located the user board at the top of the door but I can’t find the control board anywhere??????

If anyone could enlightem me I would appreciate it, thankyou

Hmm – three versions. Post up the 12nc number (starts with 8) and I’ll see if I can find you a part number.

Hi,

From reading all of the posts I thought that there was a “user board” and a “main control board”.

Number on the module located in the door of my dishwasher is UCB-1CFD-P5-A2, which I assumed to be the user board.

i had a look on the spares website for a “main control board”, and found one but when it turned up I couldn’t find it anywhere on the machine. The code on this part is CB-Z0-V0-M3, and it obviously doesn’t look anything like the “user board”.

I assume I have ordered the wrong part, is this for an older machine?
