do you need to be corgi reg to work on gas hobs that have ignitors faults
assuming you need to remove fixed supply pipe to remove hor from worktop to dismantle. I get numerous calls but always pass on to gas fitters, but there are not interested in doing such small jobs
There was a thread about this somewhere but I can’t find it maybe someone else will know where it is .
If I recall According to Corgi if you break a gas seal you are required to be Corgi registered ,everything else is okay to be non registered for BUT you have to bear in mind that in doing electrical work you may cause a problem on the Gas side and due to your lack of Gas knowledge be unaware of it ,Also you are last man standing for the appliance that you have worked on which has huge implicatyions should something go wrong .
