I need a wall venting kit for a gas tumble drier but cna only find kits “marked electric only”. What is the difference between them?
I have a Parkinson Cowna model (45 GT) no longer in manufactureRe: Gas Tumble drier vent
It’s probably due to the makers of the hose not wanting to be liable for any problems that may occur, as in blockages etc as this can cause serious issues with safety.
You can still obtain the original vent hose from Electrolux who now own the Parkinson Cowan brand name, it’s part number 345993000 at £29 inc VAT and delivery. It also only fits the gas models.
