Hi all, having real problems with a diffuser damper unit which is noisey and is located in the fridge section. the problem is that i have replaced this part on two occasions but has failed again.
hoping someone has had past problems on this model as want to get to the bottom of this .Any help on this would be greatly appreciated 😀

not sure if this is one of those affected, but there are some maytags etc that had issues with ice building up and damaging the damper units ( damper trying to operate while frozen, gears stripping etc )
solution was a retrofit element on the damper housing .
hopefully someone more used to them may help
