Hi Folks I have a GEC fridge freezer and the freezer fan is faulty ( and whoever designed the access to this component should be shot, talk about make our lives difficult) I assume this is a low voltage component(and why it needs three wires to it I can only guess it is a variable speed). Does anybody have the wiring diagram and any test sequences as I would like to check the voltage to it before I fit a new one. I have been told by another engineer (who was trying to sell me the spares) that they always change the PCB as well as you cannot prove what caused the fan motor to fail IE a faulty pcb blew the fan motor or a faulty fan motor damages the pcb. PS whirlpool are now selling GEC spare under there Maytag division. Many thanks
