ge food centre zcg23sgscss sh419537 i have a problem with this food centre if you press dispenser to dispense ice or water the compressor cuts out and the relay on the big pcb @ the back keeps clicking ,in fact if press any button on the dispenser it cuts out the compressor any ideas would be a great help. thanks in advance .

as an educated guess i would say a power supply fault on the pcb

just like a low battery if you pull too much power it cuts out

a lot of units use a capacitor for this and the go down with age

i dont repair fridges but if you want email me a good picture of the pcb and i will try to hazzard a guess of what to change

Hi

check the wire at the bottom of the freezer door which has a connection which sometimes corrodes,otherwise its the main board.
