Well yet another of my old adversaries has packed it in, retired and hung up his toolbag for good. So how nice it was for him to think of an old codger like me that’s so hard up these days scratching a living from this fickle trade. I get a phone call from him last night, he’s got a load of unused spares in his garage he just want rid of. Doesn’t want anything for them, just clear them out!
What a lovely man, how typical of the camaraderie that exists in our trade anyway, salt of the earth and all that good stuff. 😀
50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of it is really good current useable stuff (most of it genuine gear) including four 1603071 Armature/Brushes, Hoover Door Boots, Hotpoint Heater/Thermistors, Zanussi Wash Pumps. More interlocks, pumps and dozens of bearing kits. At a rough guess, got to be worth over £400 to me as is at least? Those older pumps and interlocks may well help someone out, who knows? Too good to chuck I reckon?
