Quite honestly Martin, either send them to me with facts to back up what the whining is about or reopen the topic in the General forum. Chinese whispers I can live without.
The jobs that people get from repairs@ are solely down to the postcodes, brands and products covered. It’s as fair as it can be made, but I can tell you the one or two of the more vocal people on this subject are not even registered for repairs@ and one that I recall that is covers a tiny area and only does washers and dishwashers.
If anyone should be contacted over this it’s myself or Dave, not you, that should be dealing with it. End of story.
If these people are not brave enough to make their opinion known then, I’m sorry, but I personally will not do diddly squat about it. And don’t go re-opening the wound Martin, there’s no need, it’s far better if those with a gripe are left to get on with it.
The site does rely on the trade members but I will not be swayed in my own opinions by vieled threats passed by a third party, full stop. There are now just on 1000 trade members and very, very few of them have a problem. So far as I am concerned if they don’t want to be a part of what we do then that’s fine, withdraw from repairs@ and don’t take part, go hide in a cave with earmuffs on and hope it all goes away.

Not me Ken, as you know, I immediately brought the matter to you and Dave’s attention in the first place by PM. I thought it only right you should both know that’s all 😉

Well, wouldn’t you know it, not even registered eh? What the hell are they griping about then I wonder? 🙄 I made the assumption (wrongly so it seems 😳 ) that they were registered?…….bloody hell, someones taking the piss 👿

Exactly, Martin.

Which I must say they are having unfortunately.
I don’t think either there should be secrets of which members are showing unrest, otherwise it undermines the trust and honesty that should exists between mods and site admin, in my opinion.
It looks at the moment to me that they are using Martin as a pawn hoping he won’t breach their confidence and thus making them think they have an advantage over us lot in here. A dangerous game me thinks.
Thats what I think anyway I may be wrong but I doubt it. Its shame cos its only a few by the sound of it.Greg 😀
