Getting the best from our Bosch washing machine

Hi. We have just this morning collected a Bosch Maxx Plus WFO2860 from a Freecycler, woohoo! Our Zanussi has died after 5 years hard service. There’s no manual (yes, I have looked at the sticky), but rather than how to use it we’re wondering how we should treat it and which detergent to use to get the best from it. It’s had light use til now (we do 2-3 loads a day), and as I speak KD is cleaning it out (I’m Mrs KD!) and we’re going to run it empty at 90 degs to check everything is okay.

How should we maintain it to get the best from it? Thanks – fab site!

The independant unbiased best detergent is Aeriel.
