I usually steer clear of catering equipment but went to this machine, a Comenda LBC215 at a local bowling club. I thought it would work much the same as a dishwasher but it does seem more complicated. Machine is supposed to fill up then heat the water. A light should come on to say it’s reached temperature and you then switch it to wash. It is now going straight to wash as soon as you switch on. It filled up at the same time, to what appeared to be the correct level. Apparently it is also not heating. I have checked the wash start button and the dishwasher type heater element. Both are OK. There is also a sort of cylindrical tank in the bottom of the machine that seems to have another heater built in plus 2 thermostats with capillary tubes. The heater in that also seems OK, about 20 ohms. There is a light to show when it’s heating the water, this just glows dim.
Any thoughts or should I just give up on this one? 😕

Tank at the bottom is the rinse tank, this heats the water and pumps it up to the wash tank. Have you checked the two stats and the heater in the rinse tank?
One stat set to around 45 degrees(wash tank) and rinse set to around 65 degrees.

These machines have muilti level pressure switches, fill cut off and then heater, then drain.

Machine will continuious wash untill boiler rinse tank reaches temp.

    Hope this helps.

Could be a thermal overload somewhere on bottom of tank, this goes out sometimes if machine is drained of water & boils dry.

    Normally has red reset button.

Also check if theres a relay suplying the heater, could be a bad connection there.
