I think reaper is spot on here, a troll, got to be. I’ve read the thread through and through and the one thing that stands out of this is how he picks up on anyone that responds to his questioning (e.g “Hello again Iadom” “Hello Andy Jones” “Hello Martin”) The detailed questioning of EMW and him implying his qualifications as a heating engineer are sufficient. Hmmmmm?

I applaud the patience shown to this gentleman so far. The precision of his postings, extreme courtesy and attention to detail suggest he may have a personality trait such as autism or OCD. The last thing he needs is to be accused of being a troll.

The one saving grace we have in answering questions in the public forums is….tact. 😉
Perish the thought that we should accuse CHRISX of being a troll, no way…! 😀

Why try to help someone who stated in his first post he had no intention of repairing the appliance and simply needed a quote to have it repaired.
Going the extra mile is great if someone needs help and appreciates your help.
I don’t get why any of you kept answering this nutter, maybe ego, maybe you just don’t understand nutters.
Probably me I guess. But reading his responses he is either fishing for something or is mocking/trolling and these people for me won’t get my attention or help.
I wouldn’t be surprised if his name is adrian. :rotfl:

Nothing to do with ego, I’ll leave egotistic posting to others better qualified. 😉He obviously has some issues but I wouldn’t class him as a nutter, stratfordgirl was probably spot on.
One thing I can spot a mile of is a poster who is rude, arrogant, overbearing and full of self importance, possibly even egotistical.
Mentioning no names of course. 😛

I fully admit most of those traits and a few others to boot.
