I wonder whether you can help me – my name is Matt Stevens and I’m a researcher for Which? magazine.

I’m in the process of writing an article on the reliability of domestic appliances over the last 50 years.

    Bad appliance design
If anyone in the industry has any feedback about particularly bad product design and manufacture that has led to problems for consumers or products failing, do let me know.

    Good appliance design
Also, if you have any examples of good product design that in your experience has led to products lasting a long time, let me know.

    My email is matt.stevens@which.co.uk

    Many thanks,

    Matt

Well your post is a little misplaced to be honest Matt. Better you raise the same post in ‘General Enquiries’ where I can add further toward your request.

Edit: Started a new topic 😉
