Well, I don’t know what a Midea is, but it’s constructed just like a Haier 🙁

Dunno TBH, I think it’s much of a muchness but Midea do seem to be slightly better.
The legend goes that the Chinese government bought all the tooling and whatnot from Indesit to make that old dishwasher, licensed it to Haeir, Midea and others and that the Chinese have developed it. Supposedly they are now on the third or fourth generation of that product which is supposed to be much improved over previous ones and that Midea have developed it more than others.
See, full of useless information I am. 😉

Surely I don’t smell a distinct whiff of sarcasm? 😆
TBH they’re better than they were, loads better but that’s really not saying much based on how bad they were, it’d be hard to get much worse!

Didn’t have to get into the base on this job luckily, but it looked as if to do so you still had to turn the machine upside down and take the legs out like you did on the earlier models.
My recent job is one to watch out for. If you get a water in the base error message, take the left-hand side panel off and while the machine’s filling check for water seepage from where the stiff hose from the inlet valve pushes onto the metering chamber . It’s clamped on with one of those crimp-on hose clips, and wouldn’t crimp tightly enough. I had to cut the hose back and change the clip for a jubillee clip.

On the upside you get paid a whole lot more by Amica than you do any other SP. 😉
