Good quality second-hand double oven – Any suggestions?

I am looking to replace our very cheap, but not especially cheerful, Diplomat built-under electric double oven. Unfortunately I don’t have the necessary cash to fork out for a new one of any quality, so am looking to buy second-hand, probably from a well known internet auction site.

I’m looking principally at a Neff, but am open to suggestions about other brands or particular models to go for or avoid. Bells and whistles are not important – just a solid, well made and reliable fan oven is all I’m after.

I am always wary of electrical items on these well known sites like Ebay. I would contact the seller direct and discuss condition and whether or not it is fully functional before you bid and buy.

Neff as a brand are very good, spares are readily available from most good spares outlets although like most makes cosmetic parts can be expensive.

You could also try any local dealers to see if the have any reconditioned machines which will probably come with a guarantee.
