    Hi

I have a Gorenje dishwasher with a part number of WQP12-9319, which I think is also known as 60010.

The pump has been making a funny noise for a while and now the machine does not complete it cycle. It comes up with an E3 code.

I’ve had a search on this and people say to check the element and stat.

I’ve tested the element and get a reading of about 35 ohms. There are two stats, one that says non resettable and reads open circuit. The other stat reads about 2.7 ohms until you heat it up then it goes open circuit.

Does anybody know what to do next?

    Cheers

    Chris

Just in case anybody has a similar fault, I replaced the thermal cutout stat. It shouldn’t have been reading open circuit in it’s natural state. It should be closed circuit until it reads over the maximum temperature, then it goes open circuit to interrupt the supply to the element.

The old thermal cutout stat was a 90 degree non resettable item, the replacement part is a self resetting 78 degree item.

It now works and the wife thinks I’m the mutt’s nuts!

    Chris
