I have a Gorenje bo87oraxuk which keeps blowing the rear fan oven heating element even after being replaced. It can last a few weeks then one day when it has reached 180c it can trip the fuse in the house and it never works again until replaced. Any ideas on how to find out what is causing this? I don’t want to keep buying heating elements every few weeks! To add, the other functions of the oven continue to work as far as I have tested.

I have replaced element twice with genuine spares.

Is the fan running properly as it sounds like the elements are overheating. It should spin freely and easily by hand and they usually carry on spinning for a second or so after power is removed.

The fan still spins properly. It continues to spin for a few seconds after it’s turned off.
