Gorenje EC65301AX control panel gets very hot.

Hope someone can help 🙂

As the title suggests controls get very hot for customer to touch. Our engineer had to use oven gloves to turn the controls off after only 10 minutes use of the grill being on!!

Upon investigation there is no cooling fan in this and no deflector plate. The instructions do say for some models there is a cooling fan but they don’t state which ones. There is no mention of a cooling fan in parts list but there is a fan on the explosion picture but no part number.

Going to send a part number enquiry anyway.

Just wondering if anyone else had come across this problem before and what outcome was achieved if any?

I’d bet though that it’s within the regs and that means there’s bog all you can do. 🙁
