    Hi all,
I bought a secondhand freezer yesterday and am after some info on the buttons it has on it.

It’s Gorenje F236U and has two buttons, one is green and has 1 and 0 on it, the other is orange and has N and S on it. The green one doens’t seem to work properly, however the freezer works fine.

    Any ideas?

Suspect green will be power – if it doesn’t light up or flickers I wouldn’t worry to much as the neon is on continuously with the power, so is prone to failure. Orange will be a “superfreeze” optoin for the freezer – this willover-ride the thermostat and run the compressor continuously. Useful if filling an empty freezer with warm food.

    Re: Gorenje Freezer buttons

    Thanks muchly..
Took the top off and someone had by-passed the green button.. either the button or neon died.. doesn’t bother me though if I want to turn it off I’ll unplug it !!!

    Thanks again.
