    Hi

    Problem is the freezer is too cold but the fridge is not cold enough. Today I discovered the fridge was at around +10 degrees whilst the Freezer was below -20 degrees. Any suggestions or is it kaput?

    does your model have 1 temperature control knob?

    Yes just the one – it used to run at around 3-4 depending upon temp in kitchen but now at 6 and still not cool enough in fridge but too cold in freezer.

    Either loss of refrigerant or poor pumping compressor, no diy fix I’m afraid

    Thanks JD – I realised it was unlikely to be a DIY job but is it a viable tradesman fix or should I bite the bullet and buy a new one?
