ParticipantHi all, I’m hoping you can help.
Product: Gorenje GV62110 Dishwasher.
Serial no: 03330750Approximately 2 year old Dishwasher.
The ‘Washing Program button’ has stopped working and therefore cannot select a program to start a cycle. The button ‘clicks’ as usual when pressed but doesn’t select or light up any of the LED’s.
All other buttons are working; All LED’s (including the ‘program’ LED’s) light up when switched on, and all but the ‘program’ LED’s stay on.There’s no noise coming from it (other than the bleeping when pressing the on/off and Delayed start buttons and when closing the door), no attempt to start a cycle when closing the door; I’ve tried different ‘power on’ options…..hold power, hold programme then power, etc,
When I switch it on, the number 88 comes up briefly then goes to 00 (I’m guessing that is standard).
There are no error codes, I’ve tried a ‘test program sequence’ as mentioned on this website (for this model) but nothing happened.
I’ve gone through all the troubleshooting in the manual and some others after searching online; (plug fuse is fine, latch on door is fine, all the internal components are clog/muck free etc).
I’ve even gone as far (with the help of some youtube videos!), as dismantling the door to have a look inside, with my untrained eye there are no visible ‘burn’ spots on the circuit board, no wires broken or ‘unhinged’, all connections seem sound. I’ve taken pictures, but having trouble uploading them to my computer. I took off the ‘vents’ on the bottom to check if there was any water visible underneath or dripping, nothing.
And that is where I’ve stopped.
The only problem we’ve had with it was about 2 weeks ago when, during a cycle some water leaked from it (as if the door hadn’t been closed properly), seemed to be concentrated to the bottom of the door; however when I opened it up water seemed to have seeped from every angle of the door including the top (where the buttons are).
We left it alone for about 24hrs to let it dry out, it has been used since and has worked fine with no problems, until yesterday.
I’m wondering whether the ‘programme button’ (or circuitry or wiring from it), has been affected somehow by water seeping in 2 weeks ago? It did feel as though the fibrous coverings over the wires, (leading from the programme button and the power button/display to the main circuit) (see link below for replacement part) were slightly damp.
I’ve sourced a replacement “Main Module PCB” (link below), and just wanted some advice as to whether it could possibly be as simple as replacing that; or from your experience and what little information I can give you is it likely to be something completely different?
Thank you for any advice

Ok, so no ideas or advice?!
I’ve done some testing with a multimeter and seems the circuit board is the problem.
Can anyone tell me based on the model and serial number whether a new board would need to be programmed once installed; or is it likely to be ‘plug and play’ as the saying goes?
Thanks
