ParticipantGood afternoon all,
Wondering if anyone can advise me on a problem with the above washing m/c.
When a usual wash programme is selected, water enters and then the m/c will wash normally; i.e. agitates clockwise, pause, anti-clockwise, pause etc.
However, the customer assures me that the m/c simply does not move on from this cycle.
When I visited recently, I confirmed that this was the case, and caried out several visual and electrical tests.
The heater is fine, and is heating the water. The drain and spin functions are fine when selected.
I deduced that the electronic control module must be faulty, although no obvious visual signs of burning etc.
So I ordered and renewed the module.
However, the problem remians!
Any help and advice much appreciated.

Good evening gandh1,
Please could you enlighten me, as I don’t understand what you mean by “blocked waste spike on plumbing.”

have you checked for any blockages ie sock or colour catcher in or around eco ball.pr sw or tube and chamber.i think 💡 what gandh1 is on about is waste connection under sink.even though it is draining it might be partially blocked.paul

Thanks Paul,
I have just checked for blockages as suggested, but all fine.
The m/c is now in my workshop, and drains fine. The m/c is making no attempt to drain when a wash cycle is selected… purely continues on wash/agitate cycle indefinetly.
I’m wondering if there is a wiring or earth fault.
Best wishes,
jontymox

Thank you for your input clockworkone, and sorry for the delay!
After all my checks and tests, the thermistor appears to have been at fault.
I checked this, and the heater early on in my investigation, and both gave good readings and appeared fine.
However, I have renewed the thermistor, and all is well.
Seems like it was playing up on the 40 degree cycle, thus not progressing.
Kind regards,
jontymox
