Gorenje WA74163 v ISE 5

Can anyone give their opinions regarding these two machines.

My Aristion is dead (no surprises) and i am looking to replace with quality.

My local appliance supplier has recommended the Gorenje, but i was wondering what other people thought before i bought.

Gorenje can be installed for £479 and the ISE 5 for £550.

I need to know which performs better, which has better reliability and which one has the cheaper replacement parts.

Hi Matt,

The ISE5 is quite often £449 from the dealers, it’s certainly that price from us excluding the delivery and installation but many do the 5 for £449 including that, or thereabouts. There’s no RRP now as they’ve been outlawed for many years.

I would expect that the ISE parts will be cheaper, a lot cheaper if required.

The Gorenje machines seem to be okay in general, except the cheap ones with the plastic door glass. We’ve had issues with wash performance and time taken reported on those but I don’t know what the better ones are like in all honesty as I’ve rarely seen them myself and never tested one.

The ISE is quick, quiet, just does the job and is easy to use.
