I have the above oven however the separate hob induction top keeps shorting out due to vapour coming from the oven below..there is lots of ventilation. If I put the top oven fan on, the steam from the oven below stop’s..when the top oven in on, I can feel hot air being blown through the vents at the front, this doesn’t happen when the main oven only is on..is this right?

Steam coming from any fan oven simple ain’t right. Why steam? What are you cooking there?

hey there, maybe not so much steam but the heat from the side vents contains vapour which you can see leaking out around the separate hob top in a lot of condensation when its on. cooking a jacket potato can do this. should there be a fan which blows out air from the front of the main oven like there is on the top grill/oven. when I switch the light on the empty top oven, there is a fan which switches on and which stop’s all the condensation and heat escape through my work surface.

The exterior cooling fan should switch on when the bottom (main) oven reaches 60c and remain on even after you switch off the main oven until the temperature is below 60c. See link below…..

Just had engineer out..he scratched his head a lot and said the way it was wired up, meant the fan shouldn’t come on and he couldn’t see an obvious wiring fault to fix..he s gone away and said he ll request a wiring diagram for this make but that it may be the oven cooling fan shouldn’t come on with this model..can that be right?
