Grill stopped working on Kenwood CK405 Range cooker.

Hi All,

I have a two year old Kenwood CK405 dual fuel range cooker. The grill, in the main oven, has just stopped working. Before I go ahead and buy a new element could this problem be caused by anything else? The oven selector switch for example?

It’s possible but probably the element, you could check the element with a meter, that’s the easiest way to be sure.

Hi Kwatt, Big thanks for your response. If I test with a meter, which bits do I make the connections with. ie, can I test the actual element, or do I have to get to the back of the oven?
